Collaborative, Cooperative, professional Quality Patient Care
Our Clinic does its best to work collaboratively and cooperatively with all local and regional clinics to provide valuable skin assessment services to the general public which are difficult to access given the high patient workloads and long waiting lists of dermatologists and plastic surgeons. We aim to ensure continuity of care with our referring health care professionals.
Much of the work we do at The Mole Clinic is almost identical to the minor surgical services offered by dermatologists and plastics. We have expertise to remove skin lesions from almost anywhere on the body including the face (including eyelids, nose, lips, with a few exceptions), and genital areas.
We are also highly qualified to provide Botox injections for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), as well as Botox injections for chronic migraines. These services can be very disabling and are covered by many third-party insurance carriers.
We take great pride in the service we provide and the professionalism we offer. We work hard to ensure there is good and open communication and regular updates with our referring health care professionals.
Family Doctors Part of a Family Health Organization (FHO)
- Our general policy is for patients whose skin concerns are medical (i.e., concern for skin cancer), a referral from the family doctor is required.
- We do NOT bill OHIP for purely cosmetic concerns.
- We are a GP Focus Practice in Dermatology – your practice will not be negated by our services.
