About the Mole Clinic

Our Story

Founded in 2008, The Mole Clinic was created to meet the need for fast, accessible, high-quality treatment of common skin lesions. Our physicians specialize in procedures that many family doctors have limited time or experience to manage, with a strong focus on precision, safety, and excellent cosmetic outcomes.

Dr. Raza Khan, MD, CCFP, FCFP, leads our clinical team. He completed his medical training at the University of Toronto in 1995, followed by a family medicine residency at the University of Ottawa, and has been in full-time clinical practice since 1997. In 2007, he became a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Dr. Khan is also an Associate Clinical Professor (Adjunct) in the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University, where he teaches and mentors family medicine residents in surgical and procedural skills.

Dr. Khan brings a unique blend of surgical expertise and artistic skill to his GP Focused Practice in Surgical Dermatology in Brantford, Ontario. With a passion for art, calligraphy, and cartooning, he applies meticulous attention to detail to every procedure. As of 2025, he has performed over 46,000 surgical procedures, including 35,000 OHIP-covered procedures and 11,000 cosmetic treatments, earning a reputation for compassionate, patient-centered care and consistently excellent outcomes.
